Yellow lobster

The owner of Arnold's Lobster and Clam Bar in Eastham, Nathan "Nick" Nickerson, received a 7-pound rare orange-and-yellow lobster from a friend.

The yellow lobster, named Fiona, was caught off the coast of Prince Edward Island and it's one in 30 million.

New England Aquarium director of research Michael Tlusty says a rare genetic mutation produces yellow lobsters. Life isn’t easy for such animals. Their bright colors make it easy for predators to spot them.

Nickerson said the human predators at his restaurant will never get Fiona.

Wow! This lobster's colour is just like a cooked lobster. This lobster is even more rare than the blue lobster.
