Well... I've always been a plant killer... not intentional... but I keep forgetting to put water in plants... Oops!! :P

Transformers bearbrick

The foursome of Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee and Barricade were spotted at this year's Wonder Festival in Tokyo. The specialty toys from Japan come in various themes and colors, and this batch is to commemorate the Transformers Movie. They will be sold in packs of two, with the choice of Optimus Prime/Megatron or Bumblebee/Barricade.
These are Japan only, selling for 1,890 Yen (approx. Cdn $18).

M.C. Escher's Waterfall 3D

Remember this painting?


This is the famous optical illusion painting from Dutch artist M.C. Escher.

Japan actually made a 3D version of this physically impossible sculpture.
This 6" sculpture is available at ThinkGeek for US $59.99.


Unfortunately, this is not a real waterfall. Furthermore, you have to view this sculpture at a certain angle. Otherwise, the whole illusion will be destroyed.



Well... I guess humans are not technologically advanced enough to bend the Law of Physics yet...

World's smallest humanoid robot in production

Japanese toymaker Tomy is showing off the 'Omnibot17u i-SOBOT' robot today in Tokyo. It is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's smallest humanoid robot in production. The 16.5 cm tall robot, powered by Sanyo Electric's eneloop nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries, is able to talk about 180 vocabularies and has about 200 different types of action patterns. The robot will go on sale in Japan for a price of 29,800 yen (about Cdn $258).

Wow!! The world's smallest humanoid robot!!
With a single charge, I wonder how long will the batteries last.
$258 is a bit too expensive. I guess I would buy it if it is under $100. (^0~)

I can't find any more information about this Sanrio Dessert Shop in the internet.

It would be nice if Sanrio opens the same shop in Canada. I would like to try the Hello Kitty desserts!!

JVC launches their huge 110 inch HD-110MH80 1080p back projection TV in Japan.
This is the "World's Largest" HDTV!!
This TV size is 2544× 1777×936mm.
It will be available for sale starting from July. The price will be about 6,400,000 Yen, which is approx. $55,777 Cdn.

Anyone wants to buy one and invites me over for movies?

Organizing cables

The cables around my computer desk are a mess. I have monitor cable, speaker cables, USB cables, cell phone cables, mp3 player cables, etc... (Since there are soooo many, it will take me a couple of hours to list them all here...)

I tried to organize them better with cable wraps, which made them look a little bit better, but it wasn't fun doing that.

Well... I found some products that will make organizing cables very fun!!
There are Cat Cable Clips, Cable fish, Cababo Frog, and One Man Tied.
These things will make the computer room look like a zoo... or a place holding lots of hostages.... Hee hee...



I don't really know these things will actually work or not, but they are surely cute and fun to look at!!

Fun desk accessory

Found another interesting toy... Butt Station Catch All Desktop Accessory!
It includes a pen holder, tape dispenser, memo/card holder, paperclip holder.
Well... I wouldn't want this thing on my desk. I don't need something to remind me of washroom. But this would be great on other people's desk (e.g co-worker's desk)! Hahahahaha...

Japanese has another very useful invention! All-you-can-listen Cubic Pillow for all human beings who love living almost lying all day long!

The Cubic Pillow is awesome for watching TV and talking over the phone.
I've always wonder why no one invents something like this.

Bombs

Sometimes... When I get really frustrated or angry, I do want to blow up people... not physically... just pretending to blow them up... BoooooooooooommmmmB!!
Well... It would be nice to have a bomb around to do that...

There is an USB Hub bomb switch ($45.62 USD), which is both an USB hub and a bomb switch. Turn on switch 1, switch 2, and switch 3 in order... Then push the BOMB Ignition Red Switch... BoooooooooooommmmmB!!
I wonder how big is the BOMB sound. Will the sound be so loud that it would shake the whole office??

I also find a Danger Bomb Clock in the same web site that sells the Bomb Switch.
Since I always have a hard time waking up in the morning, I guess this would be a good idea!!


Danger Bomb Clock gives you a waring before it makes explosion sound. You are given 3 minutes to stop the explosion. To avoid the explosion, you have to pull off the same colour wire/code as the flashing color lamp. If you pull off the wrong code or don't pull off the code in time, then the bomb exploses. BoooooooooooommmmmB!!

Well... I hope the loud buzz will not wake up the whole house and neighbours. Otherwise, my family or neighbours might use a real bomb to kill me. hahahaha...

I Want One of Those

I like cute & interesting stuffs.
I usually don't buy them, but I like to look at them in stores.
Since Canadians are generally very practical... and boring... It is hard to find a store that sells interesting stuffs... (ok ok... I guess I shouldn't say that since I am a Canadian too...)
So... I surf the web for interesting stuffs...

I found an interesting UK site called Totally Funky that sells some weird stuffs.

First of all... It sells Control-A-Woman Remote and Control-A-Man Remote. (Price: £5.99 each)

Control-A-Man Remote is a remote control to make him do what you want! Control buttons include Tell Truth, Listen, Propose, Stop Snoring and Talk About Feelings.

Control-A-Woman Remote is a remote control to make her do what you want! Control buttons include Calm Down, Hurry Up, Stop Nagging and Give Me Beer.

Both remotes does not require batteries. They are powered by positive thinking. Also, their operating instructions are:

I think those remotes will be world's best sellers if they do work. All wifes and girlfriends will buy a Control-A-Man Remote. All husbands and boyfriends will buy a Control-A-Woman Remote. Hahahahahaha...
Unfortunately, since the remote does not require batteries, I think this might just be a piece of useless plastic. Not even a sound will come out from remote saying the commands (such as Stop Snoring, Listen, etc)
